Event: Mid-distance
College: Emily was named Captain for 2014 track & field season. She is a member of the school record 4x800m relay team that ran 9:27.47 at the 2013 MIAC Outdoor Championships, finished 12th at the MIAC Indoor Championships in 2013 with at time of 1:41.72, and ran a personal best time of 2:26.39 in the 800m at the Hamline Women’s Twilight in 2013.
High School: Emily ran for Minneapolis South High School where she was named a captain, earned rookie of the Year and Most Dedicated. Emily was also a member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Emily is the daughter of Susan Phillips. She is a double major in Elementary Education and Spanish and she also runs for Hamline’s Cross Country team.
