Hometown: Mahtomedi, MN
Events: Jumps/sprints
College: Sara competed in both the triple and long jump at the MIAC Indoor Championships in 2013. She jumped personal bests of 16-2 ¼ in the long jump and 33-6 in the triple jump at the 2013 Macalester Pre Meet.
High School: Sara jumped for Mahtomedi High School, was captain of track team, and was the Senior Athlete Award winner. She also earned the Blue/Gold Award.
Personal: Sara is the daughter of Craig and Deona Nester. She is an English Major with Communications minor. Sara enjoys writing creative fiction and blogging and chose Hamline for the welcoming atmosphere.
