Hamline University Athletics

Ava Holland joined the Hamline University athletic department in August 2025 as the Leadership Development Coordinator / Business Operations Specialist, a position supported through the NCAA Pathway to Excellence Grant. In her role, Holland oversees game day and event operations, supports athletic communications and business operations, and coordinates student-athlete leadership development initiatives across the department.

Prior to Hamline, Holland served as Operations Manager and Marketing Manager for TGA Premier Sports in Minneapolis, where she managed staffing, scheduling, communications, and youth sports programming. She also gained extensive collegiate athletics experience at Luther College through roles in athletic communications, game operations, and athletic administration.

A native of Decorah, Iowa, Holland earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion from Luther College in 2024 with a minor in Applied Leadership & Management. A four-year member of the Norse volleyball program, she was a four-time ARC All-Academic honoree and actively served in leadership roles through SAAC and the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
