Hamline University Athletics

Christian Reyes joined the Hamline University men’s basketball coaching staff in 2025 as an assistant coach.

Before arriving at Hamline, Reyes served as a varsity assistant coach at Washburn High School in Minneapolis, where he focused on player development, scouting, and game preparation. He also serves as the head coach for the Minnesota Fury Boys Basketball program, one of the region’s premier AAU programs, where he mentors and develops high-level student-athletes.

In addition to coaching, Reyes is a fourth-grade teacher at Tanglen Elementary School in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Reyes lives in Brooklyn Park with his wife, Kayla, and their daughter, Celeste.
