Jordan Hendy joined the Hamline University football coaching staff in 2026 as an assistant coach, working with the defensive backs and serving as the defensive pass game coordinator.
Hendy arrived in Minnesota after spending three seasons at Pittsburg State University. During his time there, he coached cornerbacks in 2024 and safeties in 2023, following a season as an offensive graduate assistant in 2022 where he assisted with the offensive line.
Hendy also spent one season at the University of Minnesota as an offensive analyst. As a student-athlete, he earned third-team All-MIAA honors at cornerback as a graduate transfer at Pittsburg State in 2021. That season, he recorded 32 tackles, including 20 solo stops, along with three interceptions and three pass breakups.
Hendy began his collegiate playing career at the University of Toledo, where he competed from 2018 to 2020. He recorded eight tackles and an interception in 2019 and redshirted in 2018 after transferring from the College of San Mateo. Hendy spent two seasons at San Mateo, totaling 24 tackles, nine pass breakups, and three interceptions as a sophomore in 2017.
