A Hamline alumni, Arkell graduated with a double major in psychology and philosophy and double minors in neuroscience and political science. She was a four-year member of the Hamline women’s hockey program, helping lead the Pipers to two NCAA Frozen Four appearances and earning All-American honors during her collegiate career.
Arkell used her final year of eligibility to compete for the University of Minnesota women’s hockey team, contributing to one of the nation’s top NCAA Division I programs.
She has three children: Hendrix, Harlee, and Haisley.
