Dan wasn't perfect on the mound for the HU baseball team ast week. But he came pretty close. The Burnsville, Minn. senior won a pair of games, throwing 13 innings and allowing just one unearned run. He gave up just 10 hits with no walks and eight strikeouts in an 8-1 win over Dubuque and a 2-0 decision over Williams. The latter was his second career CG shutout and improved his 2013 numbers to 3-1 with a 1.75 ERA. He was no slouch at the plate, either with a 7-for-17 effort and five RBI.
