Hamline fired nine shots at Augsburg goalie Katie Gajewski but to no avail. HU, which held an overall 17-13 edge in shots, gave up a first half and two in the final eight minutes to fall to 11-4-1 overall, 4-4-1 in the MIAC. Aileen Scheibner had four shots (two on goal) to lead the HU offense.

Hamline remains in a tie for fifth place, one point out of the final playoff spot currently held by Bethel and St. Olaf. They will conmtinue their fight for a first-ever playoff spot next week when they host St. Benedict on October 24 at 3:30 p.m. The season finale is Octobr 27 at St. Catherine.
