The HU volleyball team looks to finish up what has already been a notable season with a pair of home matches at Hutton Arena. And the first order of business is a doozy.

The Pipers (18-10) face league leader (and No. 7 in the latest AVCA poll) St. Thomas tonight at 7:00 p.m. The Tommies are 30-1 overall and clinch at least tie for the conference title (and wrap up home court advantage) with a victory.

Hamline is coming off a weekend when they earned their first conference win of the year, a 3-1 decision last Friday at Macalester. Their 18 overall wins means they have doubled their output for the 2011 season. A victory tonight or Friday against Augsburg would give HU 19 for the season ... which would tie a figure last achieved in 1995.
