The beauty of the MIAC schedule at this time of year is that you have little time to mope after a loss. So it is the Hamline men's basketball team gets to put Saturday 78-67 loss at Concordia in the rear view mirror and plunge straight ahead into a new adventure.

Bethel visits Hutton Arena tonight for a 7:30 p.m. Both teams are on the edge of the conference playoff chase with 3-5 MIAC  marks. The Royals offer up a major challenge in Taylor Hall, the top scorter in the conference with a 21.0 points per game average.

The Pipers have their own offensive force in Dior Ford, who set a career high for points against St. Olaf last week and followed that with a double-double (21 points, career high 13 rebounds) at Concordia.

It's the first of three games this week as the Pipers pass the midway part of the conference slate. On Wednesday, they play at St. John's. Carleton is here this Saturday for a 3:00 p.m. game.
