1/20/2013 11:46:00 AM

The Hamline men's basketball team starts off a busy week with a trek down Highway 61 to face St. Mary's. When the teams met at Hutton Arena on December 3, Charlie Choiniere (pictured)  exploded for a career high 16 points and Noah Aguirre added 13 and nine assists in a 82-58 victory. HU bolted from the gate for a 47-24 halftime edge and shot a blistering 60.3 per cent from the field in the win.

The Pipers (6-10 overall, 3-8 MIAC) will be looking to shake off a 94-66 loss at home Saturday to Carleton. The Pipers fell into a 51-25 halftime hole. Thyey staged a brief second half rally that cut the margin to 15 before the Knights regained control and went on to the win.

The Cardinals are 3-13 overall and 2-9 in the MIAC. But they have split their last four decisions, including a nine-point road win at St. Olaf.

Game time in Winona is 7:30 p.m.
