Box Score Hamline put up a lot of shots but couldn't figure a way past Concordia goalie Elizabeth Bitzan and took a 1-0 loss at Paterson Field Saturday.

The only goal of the game came 31 minutes into play. The Pipers, who had three shots on goals in the first half, upped that figure to five in the second half. Aileen Scheibner and Mallory Wirth had two each. Meanwhile, Piper goalie Erin Urbanowicz was also busy, recording 10 saves (seven in the second half).

Hamline dropped to 5-6-2 overall, 2-4-0 in the MIAC. It was their first loss all season at home. HU will get a chance to get on the winning side of the ledger Tuesday when they host Augsburg. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
