Box Score 2 The smallest Piper volleyballer in stature stood tall on the court all weekend. 5-2 Lynsey Reimer (2) dove and stretched to and fro all weekend to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team as Hamline split four matches in their annual tournament at Hutton Arena.
As they did on Friday night, the Pipers won and lost a pair of 3-0 matches. They started the day on a happy note, starting fast and never letting up in defeating Crown, 25-12, 25-6, 25-9.
Paige Walters had a season high 11 kills with
Sam Greeney-Hamlin close behind with 10.
Vassi Prattas contributed 21 assists while Reimer and
Katie Ayres had six digs each. The Pipers hit a solid .578, recording just three attack errors.
Things went the other way against Ripon in 15-25, 22-25, 15-25 losses. Prattas had another solid game, with a career high 22 assists.
Jamie Rubbelke had a dozen digs while Reimer added nine. (She finished the weekend with 38 and leads all Pipers with 116.)
Hamline is now 4-4 overall and continues its tournament tour next weekend with four matches at St. Catherine.
