The Pipers came out flying, holding the Cobbers shotless. HU had three in its own right but was unable to get a goal. CC turned matters aorund in the second half with seven shots but GK Erin Urbanowicz stayed firm to force the extra sessions. Emily Wendorff's goal at 104:50 gave the Cobbers the win. HU fell to 7-4-2 overall, 1-4-1 in the MIAC. Aileen Scheibner was the lone HU player with more than one shot attempt.

The Pipers remain on the road next week, with games at Augsburg (Oct. 14- 7:30 p.m.) and Carleton (Oct. 18 -1:00 p.m.)
