Box Score Hamline's women's soccer team fired 13 total shots -- five of which landed on goal -- but couldn't find the back of the net in a 1-0 loss at St. Thomas Sunday. Malya Hirshkowitz (pictured, 21) and Aileen Scheibner had four shots apiece for HU, which fell to 6-3-2 over all, 1-3-1 in the MIAC.

The Pipers came out blazing, unloading eight shots in the direction of the UST net. But the Tommies scored the lone goal 16:21 into the game. Erin Urbanowicz had two saves for Hamline. HU plays a non-conference game at UW-Stout October 7. They are at Concordia Saturday, October 11.
