Box Score Hamline battled Gustavus' women's soccer teams on nearly even terms all afternoon in St. Peter. Each team had seven shots. They were also even in fouls at nine apiece.

However, Gustavus worked its way for a first half goal and that was all it took for a 1-0 decision in the Pipers' final game of the season. Hamline finished 8-8-1 overall, 2-8-1 in the MIAC. It was the fourth straight .500 or better season for the women's soccer program, the best string in school history. 

Ironically, HU carried the play much of the first 45 minutes, outshooting the Gusties, 6-4. They also held a 4-1 edge in corner kicks. 

Aileen Scheibner fired four shots to lead HU. Erin Urbanowicz (pictured) had one save in goal for HU.
