Box Score Dylan See-Rockers had the hot hand, tying his season high for points in a game but Gustavus' men's bball team had too much for Hamline, claiming a 82-61 decision in St. Peter Saturday. 

The Albert Lea, Minn. sophomore made four of six shots from the field and finished with a team high 13 points in just 19 minutes of playing time as the Pipers dropped back to 4-4 overall (1-2 MIAC). Dior Ford added 12 points, five rebounds and three steals and Bennett Cooper contributed 10 points on a perfect 5-for-5 from the field. 

But the Gusties (7-1, 3-0 MIAC) shot 57.8 per cent from the field and led from start to finish. After Quinton Garvis converted a pair of free throws moved HU to within 27-19 with 7:45 left in the first half, the Gusties scored the next eight points, pulling to a 43-23 halftime edge.  The teams traded points in the second half with GAC holding a slim 39-38 advantage.

Ford's five baskets moved him past his head coach, Jim Hayes, for seventh place on the all-time list for field goals made with 423. (Hayes played here from 1990-94). The senior forward currently stands 11th all-time in points with 1,121. He needs three to pass HU Hall of Famer Dave Polson. Polson played here from 1965-69.
