Box Score Basketball is sometimes a very odd game. Hamline's men's team shot better (42 per cent) than they did in their previous two games. They outrebounded Augsburg, 34-32. They were also close in assists (15 to the Auggies' 18). 

But HU committed 20 turnovers in a 81-53 loss to the Auggies at Si Melby Hall Wednesday.

Dior Ford inched closer to the 1,000 point mark for his career with a team high 11 markers. Ford now has 992 points in 71 career games. Bennett Cooper added eight points and a team high eight rebounds for the Pipers, who are now 8-14 overall, 5-12 in the MIAC.

Marshall Jestings scored all five of his points in the first five minutes as Hamline took an early 9-7 lead. But the Auggies went ahead for good midway through the half and stretched their lead to 42-26 at intermission, shooting 45 per cent from the field. They were even sharper in the second half (51 percent) and pulled away for the win,
