2/22/2014 5:12:00 PM

Box Score On the final day of the 2013-14 men's basketball season, HU head coach Jim Hayes got a couple of performances from freshmen interested in seeing more time next year.

Dylan See-Rockers and Blaine Storlie registered career highs in the Pipers' 80-51 season-ending loss to Concordia at Hutton Arena Saturday.

See-Rockers was the only HU player in double figures, finishing with a career high 13 points. He tied with McDaniel Doe for the team lead in rebounds in the game with five.

Storlie, making his first career start, was four for eight from the field, ending with a career best nine markers. He scored the game's first points to give HU their only lead of the day.

CC responded with 10 straight points and kept the Pipers at arm's length the rest of the afternoon.

Hamline trailed 35-25 at halftime and couldn't get untracked in the seecond half. Tyler Pannell, playing his last game for HU, drained one last three-pointer. It was the 154th of his Piper career, which places him second all-times.

The Pipers finish their first season under Hayes with a 9-16 overall record, 6-14 in the MIAC.

They graduate three seniors -- Pannell, Jordan Sayers and Sam Conrad.
