Meg Griffin was the leader of the Hamline women's cross country pack. Griffin, a sophomore with freshman eligibility, was the top Piper finisher, coming 85th place at the Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Saturday. Griffin ran the 6K course in 24:27, 10 seconds ahead of teammateÂ
Brenna Kennedy, who came in 90th.Â

Sarissa Falk (107th,24:56) andÂ
Madeline Dopp (108th, 24:57y) rounded out Hamline's five scorers. As a team, HU placed 20th with a team score of 494 points.Â
It was the final race prior to the MIAC Cross Country meet, which will be held October 31 at Como Golf Course in St. Paul.Â
