Multiple PRs Set at Augustana Interregional

Rock Island, Ill. — Hamline University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Augustana Interregional Invitational this afternoon. 

Men's Results

The team showed strong effort across the board, led by Wade Tuggle (SO) who paced the squad with a time of 29:56.7, earning 167 points. Brady Sullivan (FR) and Jayden Rentz (FR) followed closely, finishing in 30:57.0 and 31:41.7 respectively, both contributing valuable points.

Jasper Roetter Gresback (JR) clocked a season best (32:39.1), while Aye Roh Htoo (FR) notched a personal record with a time of 35:00.8, continuing his steady improvement. Rounding out the squad was Joseph Rivera Fuentz (FR), finishing in 38:37.4.
The young roster, featuring four freshmen, showed grit and progress—especially with personal and season bests highlighting the team's potential for growth.

Women's Results

Anabel Bradley (JR) led the team with a strong finish at 25:32.0, placing 95th overall and scoring 71 points. The squad saw standout improvements from Tessa Meyers (SO) and Briyanna Burkhardt (SO), who both set personal records with times of 27:09.5 and 28:05.3, respectively.

Freshman Avery Smieja made a solid debut with a 28:15.6, while Lilli Carpentier (SO) and Savannah Janes (JR) clocked in at 29:24.1 and 30:31.7, showing depth in the lineup. Deliah Neria (SO) followed closely in 30:52.4, and Tatiana Otero-Ortiz (JR) rounded out the team with a time of 32:07.7.

The group continues to make steady progress, with PRs and strong performances pointing toward a promising finish to the season.
Both teams will compete in the MIAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 1st.
