Box Score The Hamline women's soccer team struck the first blow but St. Thomas rallied for a pair of goals for a 2-1 decision at Paterson Field Saturday. Jasmine Lee gave HU the early edge when she converted a feed from Jensen Sevening (5) 37:13 into the game. The Tommies, however, tied the game two minutes later and scored six minutes into the second half for the goal that would be the difference. 

The Pipers had their chances -- most notably a 5-1 edge in second half corner kicks (and 7-3 for the game) and a 10-9 overall edge in shots but could not get the equalizer. 

GK Anna Briscoe had five saves for Hamline, which fell to 3-6-1 overall, 1-3-1 in the MIAC. 

HU returns to action Tuesday with a non-conference game against UW-Stout. Game time at Paterson Field is 4:00 p.m.
