Zolnosky Finishes Second In Kills

Box Score HU junior Julia Zolnosky recorded 15 kills and added 15 digs but the Pipers dropped their season volleyball finale, 3-1, at St. Catherine Friday. It was the 10th double-double of the season for the junior, who finished second in the MIAC with 386 kills.It is also the 10th best single season effort in school history. Her 4.24 kills ranks third in the conference.

Micki Green had a team high 21 digs to finish the season fifth in the loop with 503. Her 5.47 Digs per set ranked fourth in the league. Amelia Jensen, a junior, had 23 assists to finish third in the league with 749 assists. Her 8.23 Assists per Set sits fourth overall. 

The Pipers lost their first two sets, 25-18 and 25-13. They roared back for a 25-22 third set win but fell in the fourth, 25-15. Michelle Mattke (pictured) had 14 digs in her final college match and Jamie Rubbelke chipped in with 10 in her last match. Vassi Prattas, the Pipers' fourth senior, also had a strong finish with 16 assists.

Hamline ends the year with a 11-15 overall mark, 3-8 in the MIAC.
