Box Score Arendje Louter has really adapted well to the world of women's college soccer.

The freshman scored a team-leading fifth goal of the season Friday in the Pipers' 2-1 loss at St. Mary's. Louter took a pass from Alicia Williams and drilled a shot home to give HU a 1-0 lead 11:09 into the game. The Washington native was the team's top shooter all night, registering four of the 10 shots the Pipers directed at the SMU net. 

The Pipers kept the lead until the Cardinals rallied for two goals in less than two minutes in the final 10 minutes. Anna Briscoe had seven saves in goal for the Pipers, who dropped to 4-7-1 overall (1-4-1 in the MIAC). 

Hamline returns to the field Tuesday when they host Carleton at Paterson Field. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
