Box Score Welcome to college soccer, Arendje Louter. The freshman registered her first career goal to give Hamline's women's soccer team a lead but Concordia rallied and edged the Pipers, 2-1, in the MIAC opener for both teams at Paterson Field Wednesday. Louter took a pass from another freshman, Jensen Sevening and headed the ball into at 47:32 as the Pipers struck first.

But CC, which was picked to finish in third place in the conference, tallied less than a minute and added another at 55:51 to claim the decision.

Hamline did plenty of shooting (led by Louter with five shots), offering 13 shots in the direction of the Cobber goal. CC GK Elizabeth Bitzan saved nine of them and kept her team in the game. 

HU, which dropped to 1-4 overall, plays at St. Catherine Saturday. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
