Box Score It was the breakout game that HU women's soccer coach Ted Zingman has been looking for. Aubrey Stenson (13) scored twice and Jensen Sevening connected once as the Pipers broke through with a 3-0 win at Northwestern (MN) Tuesday night. The Pipers outshot the Eagles, 18-3, and controlled the play all night to improve to 2-5-0 overall. 

Anna Briscoe made two saves to earn first collegiate shutout.

Stenson got things off to a flying start when she broke free and scored just 87 seconds into the game. Sevening made it 2-0 she she headed a shot into the net at 17:32 for her first college goal. Midway through the second half, Stenson, a senior from Oshkosh. Wis. converted an Alicia Williams pass for her second goal of the night that put the game out of reach. Stenson led the Piper offense with four shots. 

HU returns to MIAC play Saurday when they host Macalester at Paterson Field. game time is 3:30 p.m.
