Box Score Hamline ran smack into a hot Concordia volleyball team and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Cobbers Saturday afternoon in Moorhead. After falling by 21-25 and 12-25 counts, HU made a third match charge before giving by a 19-25 margin. The set was closer than the final score looked. There were a dozen ties and three lead changes before the Cobbers, who are now 3-0 in MIAC play, claimed the win.

Amelia Jensen (pictured) had the lone HU double double of the day with 19 assists and 10 digs. Julia Zolnosky was the solo Piper in double digits for kills with 10. Miquel Green led the back row brigade with 13 digs.

Hamline is now 7-7 overall, 1-2 in the MIAC. They play at St. Thomas Wednesday (7:00 p.m.) before returning to Hutton Arena on October 3 at 5:00 p.m. for a matchup with Bethel.
