Box Score It was the sort of game where one break would make a difference. Unfortunately for the Hamline women's soccer team, it was St. Thomas who engineered one. The Tommies scored a goal midway in the second half and it stood up for a 1-0 victory Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers (5-4-1 overall, 1-3-1 MIAC) unloaded 10 shots with
Kaley Roberts getting three and
Mallory Wirth and
Malya Hirshkowitz adding two each. HU also had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks. At the other end,
Amy Ramras had a season high 10 saves to keep her team in the game.
HU is in action again on Sunday. They travel to Duluth to face St. Scholastgica in a non-conference game that is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
