Box Score Morgen Coleman continues to impress in her first week as a college volleyball player. The North Branch, Minn. native had a team high 15 assists, seven digs and four BAs but the Pipers could not hold down homestanding Wisconsin-River Falls, dropping a 3-0 decision on the latter's court Wednesday night.
HU, now 3-1 on the season, dropped the first two sets by 25-17 and 25-15 scores. In the third set, they held several leads and pushed the Falcons to the wall before falling 25-23.
Julia Zolnosky led the HU offensive thrust with six kills. Hamline plays four times this weekend in a tournament at St. Catherine University in St. Paul. HU faces Crown (2:00 p.m.) and Central (Iowa) on Friday at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, the Pipers tangle with Nebraska Wesleyan at 1:00 p.m. and Luther at 3:00 p.m.
