Box Score It was quite a comeback but, in the end, Hamline's bid to make the MIAC women's soccer playoffs fell just short. HU lost, 4-2, Saturday at St. Catherine and will just miss a repeat trip to the MIAC postseason. 

Alicia Williams and Arendje Louter scored for the Pipers, who finished with an overall record of 8-8-2 (4-5-1 MIAC) under first year head Emily Cripe. Kat Armstrong had four saves in goal, finishing her freshman season with a league-leading 99. 

The Pipers entered the game knowing they needed a win over the Wildcats to have a chance at postseason play. They fell into a 2-0 hole 26 minutes into the game but started a comeback when Williams hooked a corner kick in the net at 47:08. SCU made it 3-1 but Louter walked past everybody and netted her seventh goal of the year at 61:30. The junior now ranks third all-time in school history with 22 goals and 55 points.  HU continued to press the issue but SCU scored on a penalty kick to put the game away. 

It was the final game for seniors Anna Futterer, Brittany Beckman, Williams, Marisa Smet and Teylen Sheesley.
