Box Score Hamline had four players in double digits and recorded a season high 92 digs in a 3-1 volleyball loss at Concordia Wednesday night. 

Megan Anderson was everywhere, leading the Pipers with 24 digs. Morgen Coleman had a double-double with 20 digs and a dozen assists. Marisa Franco added 14 and Sammie Coffler had 11 on the back line. Reilly Geistfeld and Jaelin Jones led the way on the front line with nine kills apiece.

The Pipers were fighting from behind all night. Concordia led from start to finish for a 25-14 win in the first set. HU had a pair of ties in the second set but CC pulled away for a 25-20 win. 

Hamline's comeback efforts were rewarded with a dramatic 26-24 triumph in the third set. HU was down 18-15 but scored the next three points to tie the matter at 18. CC worked to match point at 24-23 only to see HU rattle off the next three points to extend the match.

Concordia broke away from a 7-all tie to take the lead and held off a late Hamline rally for a 25-17 fourth set win. 

Hamline falls to 3-16 overall, 0-6 in the MIAC. The Pipers play three times this weekend in a tournament at Wartburg. First up: Luther on Friday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m.
