After dropping the first set by 25-19, HU was tied at 21 in the second
and third sets only to see UWP break away for a pair of 25-22 triumphs.
Morgen Coleman and
Marisa Franco led the offense with five kills each. Coleman had a solid night overall, adding 15 assists, seven digs and two service aces. The sophomore leads the MIAC in the latter category and is a close second in service aces per set at 0.53.
Megan Anderson had 11 digs for Hamline, now 3-9 overall.
The Pipers have a fast turnaround. They face Augustana (Ill.) at 10:30 a.m. and Cardinal Stritch at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Platteville.
