Box Score The Hamline football team is anxious to play their first home game of the season next Saturday against Carleton. Life on the road has been rough lately.

HU opened their MIAC conference slate with a 51-7 loss at Gustavus Adolphus. HU had 196 yards total offense, 102 of which came on the ground. Justice Spriggs completed seven of 17 pass attempts for 94 yards and a TD toss in thr second quarter to freshman Nick Barber

HU trailed 10-0 early in the second quarter when Spriggs connected with Josiah Harris for a 38-yard strike that moved the ball to the GAC 14. On the next play, Barber went in for his first college score. Kale Wurdeman added the extra point to make it 10-7 but that was close as Hamline would get.
