Box Score The men's soccer team made life uncomfortable for Wis-Platteville goalie Nate Miller several times Friday afternoon. But they couldn't find the back of the net and took a 2-0 loss at the hands and feet of the Pioneers. Miller and his counterpart, Hamline's Dean Isaacson had seven saves each. UWP held a slight 15-13 edge in total shots with the Pipers leading corner kicks by a 6-4 margin. Adam King had the most tries for HU with three shots while James Reardon (pictured), Ben Sorenson and Jonah Wilson-Nausner offered up two apiece. 

The Piper, now 2-2 on the season, have little time to mull this game over.   They head to St. Bonifacius Saturday night to face Crown in a 7:00 p.m. game. That will be their last battle before opening MIAC play September 13 at Macalester.
