Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Sicora Stands Out As W Soccer Ties Gusties

Lauren Sicora will likely remember her first complete games in the net for the Hamline women's soccer team. The freshman made nine saves in 110 minutes as the Pipers and Gusties battled to a scoreless double OT tie Wednesday in St. Peter. Siri Parker had five of Hamline's 11 shots directed at the GAC net.

Sicora, who had been only playing one half of the previous four games, went the distance this time. She stopped four shots in the first half and five in the second  for her c areer shutout as a collegian as HU improved to 4-11-2 overall, 1-8-1 in MIAC play. It was the second scoreless double OT tie this season HU. The Pipers did the same thing in an early season home game against Cal Lutheran.

Hamline wraps up the 2018 season Saturday, October 27 at St. Catherine. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
