Box Score The Hamline women's hockey team finished the regular season with its highest finish ever in the MIAC. The Pipers lost 3-0 at St. Thomas Saturday to end the regular season with a 18-4-3 overall. Their 13-3-2 MIAC mark places them in third place for the first time in the 18 year history of the program.
HU will open the MIAC playoffs at TRIA Rink against Augsburg (14-6-5, 9-4-5 MIAC) on Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. The teams played two very competitive games during the season. The Pipers won 1-0 at TRIA on
Dani Perry's goal with 1:46 left in third period. The teams played to a 4-4 OT tie the next afternoon at Augsburg Arena.
Madison Kolbow scored twice for HU in that game.
On Saturday, HU got another stellar performance from goalie
Mckenna Hulslander. The freshman, who stopped 40 the night before in a 3-3 OT tied, knocked away 30 Saturday. Hamline fired 21 shots on goal, led by
Darby Dodds, who had four.
The Pipers finished 1-2-3 points in the MIAC with
Bre Simon and
Sarah Bobrowski tying for the conference lead with 53 and Dodds coming in third with 26. Simon led in goals with 28 and Bobrowski topped in assists with 37. Bobrowski's 25 assists in MIAC games ties a conference record that has been achieved three times before. The senior also leads the league in plus-minus with a 47.
