The first road trip of the year for the HU men's soccer team didn't go as planned. The Pipers were held to four shots on goal in a 1-0 loss at Wis-Platteville Saturday afternoon. Adam King had two shots with Jack Reddan and Logan Weller adding one each. The Pioneers scored with 2:30 to go in regulation time to frustrate a superb effort by goalie Dean Isaacson, who had six saves.

Hamline fell to 3-1-0 overall. They will open MIAC play at Paterson Field against Macalester on September 12.
