Two nationally ranked women's hockey programs faced-off last night at Ridder Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The #4 DIII ranked Hamline University (0-1-0, 0-0-0 MIAC) was hosted by Head Coach
Natalie Darwitz's alma mater the #1 ranked DI University of Minnesota Minnesota (10-1-1, 6-1-1-1 WCHA) for an exhibition game in front of 650+ fans. The Gophers ended up winning the game 9-0, however, the Pipers received 15 saves on 19 shots faced by
Jaela O'Brien in the opening period, 14 saves on 17 shots faced by McKenna Hulsland in the second period, and nine saves on 11 shots faced by
