The MIAC's leading scorer in women's basketball went for 19 points Wednesday in Hamline's 62-57 loss at St. Catherine Wednesday night.
Reilly Geistfeld led the HU offense and was also the team's top rebounder with six but HU fell to 11-11 overall, 6-9 in MIAC games.
The St. James, MInn. native is averaging 16.6 points per game.
The junior forward connected on eight baskets in playing a season high 37 minutes for the Pipers, who rallied from a 31-17 halftime deficit but couldn't quite catch the Wildcats.
HU narrowed the lead to five in the third quarter and got within one at 52-51 in the fourth quarter before SCU pulled away in the late going.

Morgen Coleman and
Chan'el Anderson-Manning scored eight points apiece. Anderson-Manning, a freshman, had three steals and is fifth in that department in the MIAC with 55.
Hamline, which is two games out of sixth place -- the final playoff spot -- with three games to play -- visits Carleton in Northfield Saturday, February 9 at 1:00 p.m.
