BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Hamline men's tennis team finished their busy opening weekend against Saint John's today, falling to the Johnnies 9-0 at the Life Time Fitness courts in Bloomington.
Sophomore

Nazeer Robinson battled tough in No. 1 doubles, falling to Thomas Gillach and Nate Jordre 8-6. First years
Sean Le and
Allan Yang were paired in No. 2 doubles, as their opponents, Jess Hansen and Will McDowell won the match 8-2.
Xiong was slotted in the No. 1 singles spot, facing Jordre who took the match 6-3, 6-1. In No. 2 singles, Robinson fell to Gillach, 6-2, 6-1.
Senior
Blake Kuether played in the No. 3 singles spot, taking multiple games off his opponent in both sets, but ultimately falling, 6-3, 6-4. Le, at No. 4 singles, was also defeated in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, and at No. 5 singles, Yang fell 6-1, 6-1 against Hunter Fischer.
The Pipers are back in action this upcoming weekend, taking on St. Thomas on Saturday, February 22 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bloomington Life Time Fitness.
