LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Hamline women's tennis team dropped a conference matchup with St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon, falling 9-0 at the Life Time Fitness courts in Lakeville.

Yee Thao took five games off their opponents at No. 2 doubles, ultimately falling 8-5. At No. 1 doubles,
Bae Wa and
Taylor Hopkins fell 8-0 to Taylor McLeoad and Paige McLeod.

In the singles part of the match, Wa was defeated in the No. 1 spot, 6-1, 6-1. Hopkins played in the No. 2 spot dropping her match in straight sets as well (6-0, 6-0). Thao was in the No. 3 singles spot, taking a total of four games off here opponent, but falling 6-3, 6-1. Schwartz had a competitive match at No. 4 singles, but also fell 6-4, 6-3.

The Pipers are back in action on Saturday, February 29, taking on Carleton at 2:30 p.m. at the Life Time Fitness in Lakeville.
