WINONA, MINN.—The Hamline University women's basketball team hit the road to Winona, Minnesota to take on St. Mary's (Minn.) in a rare Tuesday-night MIAC contest. A Cardinals three-pointer with 00:09 on the clock sent the game to overtime with a 65-65 score, before the Pipers registered a 75-71 victory in the extra session.
The Pipers improve to 2-2, 1-1 MIAC, while St. Mary's (Minn.) falls to 2-2, 1-1 MIAC.

The Pipers experienced many lead changes for the second-straight game as each team traded advantages on 12 occasions. None of those lead changes took place in the third quarter, where Hamline jumped to their largest advantage of the game at 46-34 behind Chan'el Anderson-Manning's free throw with 7:17 left in the frame.
The Pipers couldn't hang onto that cushion as the Cardinals came back and made things tight, as neither team led by more than four points in the fourth quarter. Brooklyn Paulson knotted the game at 65-65 on a three-pointer with 00:09 left in regulation, before Hamline outscored the Cardinals 10-6 in overtime to secure a 75-71 win.
Sophie Findell tallied a game-high 24 points on 5-of-9 from the three-point line, along with six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals for Hamline. Anderson-Manning followed with 13 points, while Tess Hauer chipped in 10 points for Hamline. St. Mary's (Minn.) was led by Brooklyn Paulson's 24 points.
The Pipers will host Bethel on Wednesday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m.
