SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's basketball team hosted St. Olaf College at Hutton Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Pipers never trailed in the contest as they cruised to a 69-39 trouncing of the Oles, who shot just .227 (10-of-44) from the field.
The Pipers improve to 4-2, 3-1 MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 2-3, 1-3 MIAC.

Nineteen Pipers saw the floor, 13 of which found the score column. Hamline cut their turnovers by more than half compared to the previous game (27 turnovers), as they committed just 12 and forced 23 Ole turnovers. Chan'el Anderson-Manning accounted for 1/4 of the Oles' turnovers as she finished the contest with a team-high six steals and seven boards; along with eight points and four assists.
Lydia Lecher paced Hamline with 15 points on 6-of-18 shooting along with five rebounds, while Tess Hauer was effective with 12 points, six boards and three steals.
Rachel Kelly led St. Olaf with a double-double that included 21 points and 12 rebounds.
The Pipers will travel to St. Benedict on Wednesday, December 8. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
