SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's tennis team opened their season with a pair of matches against Wartburg College, and NAIA Grand View University in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday. The Pipers dropped 8-1 decisions in both matches.
The losses drop Hamline's record to 0-2.

Hamline's lone point occurred in No. 4 singles as Dominic Warzecha took down Jeff Miller 6-2, 6-2.

Dominic Warzecha continued his dominate ways in No. 2 doubles as he teamed with Isaac Hultberg for an 8-2 win over James Cole/Blake Beaune.
The Pipers will return to action on October 1-4 at the ITA Midwest Regional in St. Peter, Minnesota.
