LA CROSSE, WIS.—The Hamline University volleyball team squared-off against Simpson, and UW-La Crosse on the back end of the UW-La Crosse Tournament on Saturday in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Pipers opened the day with a 3-0 victory over Simpson, and dropped a 3-1 decision to the host UW-La Crosse.

The Storm led just twice in the match as they held 2-1 and 3-2 advantages in the first set as Hamline cruised to a 3-0 victory.

Sydney Larson paced the Pipers with 12 kills, and four service aces. She was second on the team with 10 digs, behind Jenna Rubbelke's team-leading 16. Megan Rubbelke tallied 25 assists in the match for Hamline.
