SAINT PAUL, MINN.--The Hamline University men's basketball team hosted St. Olaf on Saturday. The Pipers were led by 17 points from senior Jake Larson, dropping the game by a final score of 85-50 on Alumni Day.
The loss drops the Pipers to 6-12, 4-9 MIAC, while the Oles move their record up to 9-9, 5-8 MIAC.
St. Olaf 85, Hamline 50
The Oles came out with red hot shooting out of the gate making 11 of their first 12 shots from the field. St. Olaf ended the first half shooting 68% from the field and grew their lead to 49-27 at half, which proved to be enough cushion in an 85-50 loss.
The Oles were led by Nathan Hendler's 21 points, while Dominic Bledsoe added 17.
The Pipers now look ahead to traveling to St. Scholastica Wednesday, February 2 to take on St. Scholastica at 7 p.m.
