SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's soccer team hosted second-year MIAC member St. Scholastica at Pat Paterson Field on Saturday afternoon. The Pipers had an upper hand in shots with a 20-11 edge, but it was the Saints who capitalized with a 3-1 result to give head coach Dave Reyelts his 300th career win.
Hamline falls to 3-5-4, 1-4-1 MIAC, while St. Scholastica improves to 2-7-3, 1-3-3- MIAC.

Tenley Voth gave the Saints a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute before the Pipers responded seven minutes later in the 25th minute. Emily Holzman tied the game 1-1 with her first collegiate point(s), as she was the last Hamline player to touch the ball in a scrum about 15 yards in front of the net that ended with a goal.
Hamline outplayed St. Scholastica over the final 45:00 with an 11-7 edge in shots, but a tough seven-minute stretch doomed the former. A goal from Alexa Ickert in the 51st minute gave St. Scholastica a 2-1 lead, before Kaitlyn Sautter made things 3-1 in the 57th minute.
Sydni Thompson registered a game-high five shots for Hamline. Pipers goalkeeper Lauren Sicora made three saves in the complete-game loss, while her counterpart Gracie Meagher stopped eight shots for St. Scholastica.
The Pipers will travel to Carleton on Wednesday, October 12 for a 4 p.m. game.
