SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's hockey team completed the weekend sweep of Saint Mary's (Minn.) with a 4-1 decision at Tria Rink on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers improve to 3-2, 2-0 MIAC, while the Cardinals fall to 0-5, 0-2 MIAC.

Morgan Wohlers's lethal afternoon included one goal and two assists. She set the tone with a shorthanded tally at 2:52 of the first period, which gave Hamline a 1-0 lead. The second period resulted in an astounding 23-7 advantage in shots for the Pipers. It resulted in a 2-0 lead courtesy of Emme Nelson at 12:45 of the frame. The hefty advantage for Hamline didn't stop Saint Mary's (Minn.) from putting one home as Leah Parker converted a goal at 16:57 of the second period that cut their deficit to 2-1.
Wohlers assisted on both Piper goals in the third period, where they pushed their lead to 4-1 behind Payton Luff at 4:16, and Ally Steffensmeier at 17:59.
Nikki Olund finished the game with two assists.
Hamline outshot Saint Mary's 44-20. Olivia Rinzel made 19 saves in the goaltending win for the Pipers, while Celeste Rimstad stopped 40 shots for the Cardinals.
Hamline will host St. Olaf at Tria Rink on Friday, November 18 at 7 p.m.
