SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's hockey team hosted Concordia (Minn.) in a Tuesday-night non conference affair at Tria Rink, where both teams skated to a 1-1 tie. The shootout belonged to Hamline, as Bailey Sommers and Sam Dabrowski each found the back of the net to seal a 2-1 decision.
The Pipers move to 3-4-1 on the season, while the Cobbers exit Tuesday with a 2-4-1 mark.

Pipers goalie Maximillian Haselbacher carried the team on his shoulders with a 35-save performance. His lone blunder occurred at 12:55 of the second period, when Nicholas Hess gave the Cobbers a 1-0 lead off a feed from Max Johnson and Barry Bauer.
The 14:56 mark of the third period saw Kohl Hedquist center a pass from the right side that bounced off a Cobber stick to the back of the net, which made things 1-1. Mathias Branton and Sebastien Vaillancourt were credited assists on the play.
Concordia outshot Hamline 36-21. Cobbers goaltender Jackson Nelson came though with 20 saves in the tie.
The Pipers will resume MIAC play at Concordia (Minn.) on Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m.
