Hamline improves to 12-7, 10-3 MIAC, while the Gusties' first MIAC loss of the season puts them at 16-3-2, 10-1-2 MIAC.

Hamline 2, Gustavus Adolphus 1 (OT)
The opening 10:00 of the first period was all Hamline, as they held a 5-0 edge in shots. That momentum led to Jordan Hansen's goal at 11:21 of the first period that gave Hamline a 1-0 lead. A high-sticking penalty on Hamline at 10:28 of the second period gave Gustavus a power-play opportunity they took advantage of, courtesy of Kristina Press at 11:19 that knotted the contest at 1-1.
The second and third periods saw the Gusties outshoot Hamline 29-12, but Hulslander stopped all those opportunities in regulation. The first opportunity of overtime belonged to Gustavus, as Kayla Vrieze's shot hit the post at 1:13 before Roberts' goal gave Hamline the 2-1 win.
Gustavus outshot Hamline 43-22. Katie McCoy stopped 20 shots in net for the Gusties. The Pipers committed seven-of-10 penalties called in the game.
The Pipers, who remain in second place in the MIAC, will travel to Gustavus Adolphus tomorrow, Saturday, February 12 for a 2 p.m. game.
